Introduction
The Master of Science in Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Management is a comprehensive and practice-oriented programme designed to address the growing global burden of non-communicable diseases. With a focus on leadership, evidence-based practice, and regional relevance, this programme equips healthcare professionals with the necessary skills to effectively manage NCDs both locally and globally.
Delivered through a blended format combining face-to-face and online instruction, the MSc in NCD Management provides flexibility while maintaining academic rigor. Students will engage in coursework covering epidemiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, behavioral interventions, digital health, and leadership, culminating in a capstone project or thesis that applies theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree (minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent) in a health-related field such as public health, medicine, nursing, epidemiology, biology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Work Experience:
- Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience in healthcare or public health.
- Letters of Recommendation:
- Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional referees who can attest to the applicant's academic abilities and/or work experience in healthcare or public health.
- Mature Matriculation:
- Applications from non-degreed individuals may be considered under the Mature Entry Scheme, subject to:
- At least ten years of managerial or supervisory experience in healthcare.
- Possession of technical certificates or diplomas that can be assessed by the University of the West Indies.
Successful completion of an interview conducted by a panel including senior faculty members from the School of Health and Behavioral Sciences (no more than 15% of each cohort).

Duration of Programme
- Full-Time: Two (2) years full-time over 4 semesters, including an internship or research project.
- Part-Time: Three (3) to four (4) years part-time, depending on course load and completion of the capstone project
