    Biography

    Dr Dalano DaSouza is a public policy professional, researcher and Lecturer in Economics at the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus, Antigua and Barbuda. He holds a PhD Economic Development Policy, MSc Banking and Finance and BSc Economics and Management from The UWI, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning. Most of his research has focused on the English-speaking Caribbean covering areas such as development policy, public policy analysis and implementation, banking, finance and regional transportation. Dr. DaSouza has authored several articles and book chapters in refereed publications on these topics. `

    He spent several years in private sector finance working in numerous roles before transitioning full-time to academia. Prior to transferring the Five Islands Campus, Dr. DaSouza lectured for four years in the Department of Economics at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in Barbados. He is a member of the International Public Policy Association has been a part of several international donor-founded projects related to public policy development and implementation in the Caribbean.
